Description
A contrasting reveal beneath the lid
The portfolio example pairs an ivory outer box with a burgundy shoulder visible between the lid and base. The lid lifts away from the lower section, leaving a coloured reveal that becomes part of the presentation. Printed text sits on the large outer lid panel, with the restrained colour treatment keeping attention on the shape and message.
This is a reference for the shoulder-neck format. The photograph shows the closed exterior, so an internal insert or product cavity must be developed from your contents rather than assumed from the image. The box can be discussed as a presentation format without assigning it to a particular product that is not shown.
Set the proportions around the contents
Send the dimensions and arrangement of the items you want to pack. Include protective wrapping, cards and accessories in those measurements. The design review should establish the usable internal space, base depth, lid depth and amount of shoulder revealed when closed. Opening clearance and the way the contents are removed also need to be checked on the sample.
Discuss whether the contents need a separate fitment and how it should support them. Board thickness, wrap material and insert construction require an agreed specification. Any holding strength, shipping protection or repeated-use requirement should be evaluated for the complete pack before a performance statement is made.
Use the lid as a considered printed surface
A spacious lid panel can carry a logo, a short message or an edition detail. Supply your own artwork and colour references so the outer wrap and shoulder can be reviewed together. Check the position of text near the edges and the appearance of the reveal on all sides. The approved physical sample should establish the final colour, fit and opening feel.
Include the quantity, destination city and postcode when requesting a quote for an India-wide project. Share the required arrival date and whether each presentation box needs a separate shipping carton. The quotation should confirm the agreed construction, sample approval process, artwork treatment and dispatch arrangement for your order.
