Custom Cylindrical Boxes & Paper Tube Packaging Guide
A cylindrical paper box uses a round tube rather than four flat sides. It can present a bottle, a small gift or an independently packed product in a distinctive format.

Specify diameter and usable height
For a round box, the critical measurements are the usable internal diameter and height. Include the complete product, cap and any holder. The outside diameter is larger because of the tube wall and wrapping materials. A rectangular product may fit a round tube inefficiently, so compare the full pack size before choosing the shape.
Choose the lid and product holder
A lift-off lid and a raised base create different opening views. The supplied perfume photograph shows a bottle presented above a round base while the printed tube cover sits beside it. Confirm how much of the product should be visible and how it will be held. Test lid removal and replacement with the loaded pack.
Print around the curve
A wrap can carry brand colour, patterns and product information around the tube. Decide which panel is the front and where the seam should sit. Fine lines, logos and foil details need to work on the curved surface. Inspect the actual printed sample for alignment and readability instead of relying on a flat artwork preview.
Food and wellness packs need a defined inner system
Cookies, tea, dry food and supplements may be presented in paper tubes, but the outer appearance does not establish direct food-contact suitability, barrier performance or shelf life. Specify the separately packed product and any required contact or barrier documentation. Confirm lid and inner-pack requirements for the actual contents.

Questions before you order
Is a paper tube automatically food safe?
No. Direct contact and barrier suitability depend on the specified materials and complete packing system, not the round shape.
Can a cylinder hold a perfume bottle?
Yes, the bottle dimensions and base or insert can be reviewed for a custom fit. Transit protection still needs separate consideration.
Should I give the outside diameter?
Label measurements clearly. The usable inside diameter and height are the most useful starting points for product fit.
