For a Mumbai retail launch or gifting order, separate the empty rigid box from the product holder, packing and freight. A quote is easier to compare when every supplier prices the same construction and delivery scope.

- Ask for master-carton count, packed dimensions and gross weight before comparing freight.

For a Bengaluru welcome kit or multi-item brand pack, use an item matrix: each product’s dimensions, weight, orientation and quantity. A replacement bottle or notebook can change the insert even when the outside box looks unchanged.

- Separate box manufacture from product sourcing, kit assembly and individual-recipient shipping.
- Record artwork versions, quantity per version and storage space for assembled versus collapsible boxes.

For a Hyderabad fragrance, beauty or product-launch brief, measure the closed bottle, cap and every accessory. A common outer box with different fitments may be worth discussing, but it needs approval for each product-and-insert combination.
- List full-size products, discovery vials, cards and accessories separately; capacity in ml is not a box measurement.
- Distinguish a product-fit sample from a printed finish proof, and name the person who signs off each.

Compare a complete, delivered requirement.
Ask each quotation to identify the same box dimensions, board, wrap, decoration, insert, quantity per artwork and packing scope. A lower unit rate can exclude components or freight that another quote includes.
1. Product & versions
Maximum closed dimensions, weights, item layout and quantity per size or design. State any fragile or liquid-containing contents.
2. Approval & production
Sample type, print/finish proofs, tooling, approval responsibility and the production start point. Confirm MOQ and commercial terms for the exact construction.
3. Dispatch & receipt
PIN code, packed volume/weight, protective outer, receiving restrictions and arrival date. Agree freight and any terminal collection separately.

Approve remotely without guessing the fit.
Keep the product measurement sheet, artwork version and named approver together. Agree whether a structural dummy, fitted sample or finished print proof is needed; they answer different questions. A screen mock-up does not prove product retention, paper feel or foil appearance.
After approval, keep the physical reference and a written specification for repeat orders. A new product supplier, container size or insert material needs review before it is treated as equivalent. See the sample approval checklist.

Does buying boxes include products, assembly and individual shipping?
Not automatically. Empty packaging, gift sourcing, product packing, assembly and delivery to individual recipients are different scopes. Include any required service explicitly in the quotation.
