Build the box around the launch kit
A PR box brings products, a brand story and the opening sequence into one presentation. The brief can be a compact influencer seeding kit, a multi-product press drop, a retail launch sample set or a personalised event gift. Start with the actual contents and the recipient’s first view, then choose the structure, insert and printed surfaces together.
Send dimensions and weights for every finished product, including caps, pumps, outer cartons and protective sleeves. Tell us whether the kit will be handed over at an event or sent individually. A presentation box and a courier outer pack serve different jobs; include the outer packing requirement in the brief.
Top-bottom or magnetic: choose the opening

Top-bottom PR boxes
A separate lid lifts away from the base, giving the recipient an open view of the kit. Plan lid depth, the grip needed to remove it, and where the lid will sit during filming or photography. Colour blocking or a printed wrap can continue across the two pieces.

Magnetic flap PR boxes
The attached lid creates a reveal with space for a message or campaign graphic inside. Check the opened footprint, lid position and clearance above the products. The magnetic closure is part of the presentation; it does not replace an appropriate shipping pack.

Cavities, inserts and crinkle filling
A fitted cavity gives a product a defined position. A folded paperboard insert can organise a repeatable arrangement; a specified foam insert can be considered for a different shape or presentation. Paper crinkle filling gives a softer, less fixed arrangement and may suit lighter, already packaged items. These are choices to sample with the real kit, not interchangeable promises of protection.
Allow access for fingers, keep caps and labels visible, and decide where cards or printed sleeves sit. A bottle and a jar that fit individually can still need more space when lifted out. Check the loaded sample, the closed lid and the packing sequence before approving the production layout.
Choose fitted inserts or paper crinkle fillingMake colour and print work across the whole kit
Plan the outside wrap, inside lid, base lining, insert and printed card as one set. A minimal solid-colour box, full-colour campaign artwork, restrained metallic foil details or a bold printed pattern can each create a different result. Confirm the available paper, print process and finish against the approved specification.
Share brand colour references and production-ready artwork. Colours seen on a phone screen are not a physical colour approval; review a suitable printed or material sample. Keep important lettering away from folds and edges, and separate foil or other finishing artwork from the main print file when requested.
If names, creator tiers or regional messages vary, state the quantity per version. A shared outer box with different printed cards may be a simpler brief than changing every surface; ask for the two options to be quoted on the same basis.
PR box MOQ and indicative prices
Minimum order: 100 boxes. Indicative PR box pricing starts from ₹90 per box for suitable basic briefs. Premium configurations may be budgeted around ₹500–₹700 per box. These are planning indications, not a fixed price for every design or a guaranteed ceiling.
Final pricing depends on the internal size, structure, order quantity, artwork versions, paper and print, insert or filling, finishing and packing scope. Ask the quotation to identify the box, insert, crinkle filling, cards, assembly, sample charges, taxes and delivery separately where applicable. No inclusion or dispatch date should be assumed from a concept photograph.
Read the size, price and quote-comparison guideTurn a reference into an approvable brief
- List the contents, finished sizes, weights and orientation of each item.
- Choose a preferred opening style and show how the kit should look when first opened.
- Specify quantity, print versions, colour references, inserts or filling, and cards.
- Provide samples or accurate drawings so fit, lifting access and the closed pack can be checked.
- Approve the structure, artwork, material/finish and loaded sample as agreed before production.
- Confirm the packing scope, delivery postcode, campaign date and dispatch/delivery schedule in the quotation.
For a beauty-led kit, use the existing cosmetic PR packaging guide alongside the broader construction and budget guides. A mockup communicates the idea; a physical sample checks the agreed arrangement.
