Custom perfume box design: choose retail, gifting or discovery

For a single retail bottle, compare a printed carton with the product information arranged on the panels. For luxury gifting, compare a rigid drawer, magnetic or shoulder-neck box with a fitted cavity. For a sampling collection, use a perfume discovery-set box with a separate position for every vial.

A 30 ml, 50 ml or 100 ml bottle size is not enough to establish the box dimensions. Send the complete bottle height, width and depth, including the cap, and filled weight. Our in-house designer can then develop the usable cavity, opening and artwork layout around the actual product.

Measure the whole bottle

Include the cap, sprayer or decorative top in the overall height, plus the widest and deepest points of the bottle. Give the approximate filled weight. Tell us whether the bottle must lie flat or stand upright. For an attar or discovery set, list each component separately; a cap can be wider than the vial body. The holder should keep the product in position and leave space to remove it.

Use the portfolio to explain the requirement

The supplied white drawer example shows a printed sleeve, gold-coloured branding, ribbon pull and satin presentation around a bottle. The seven-vial discovery pack shows why compartment count and product access matter. These examples help explain the visible design; hidden board specifications, exact dimensions and testing should be confirmed for your order.

Choose print and surface details

Full-colour artwork can show the fragrance name and brand design. Foil, embossing, debossing or spot UV may be specified for selected details after paper and artwork review. Supply the final text and mark the decoration areas separately. Check the sample's actual finish rather than approving reflective effects from a phone photograph.

Plan the shipping protection separately

A rigid perfume box is a presentation pack. A glass bottle may need a fitted protective holder and an appropriate corrugated shipping outer. Fabric lining alone does not establish transit performance. Tell the team how the packed product will travel and confirm any required transit checks for the complete shipping system.
