Loaded-product fit
Measure all contents, packaging and closures. Confirm the insert supports the actual product without excessive movement or damage.
Finish proof
Agree print files, logo placement, foil or embossing area and colour. A screen mockup is not a colour-accurate production proof.
Cost drivers
Size, structure, board, wrap, print process, fitments, quantity and assembly all affect the manufacturing quote. Freight may be separate.
Batch and delivery
Confirm the number of units by delivery location, approval cutoffs, outer protection, expected dispatch and transit plans.

Specification-led manufacturing is different from purchasing a standard box off the shelf.
Can I order 200 custom rigid boxes?
For standard top-and-bottom and magnetic Kappa boxes, the current minimum order indication is 200 pieces. Other structures, finishes and unusual sizes need a confirmed quotation and MOQ.
Should I supply the product size or the box size?
Both are useful. Supply the complete product including caps, protective sleeves and accessories. Mark proposed box dimensions as internal and send a real sample or accurate drawing for fitment review.
Can you make an internal cavity for multiple products?
Paperboard partitions, foam/EVA and fabric-covered fitments are possible design directions. The final contour, depth, clearance and assembly must be engineered and approved against the actual contents.
How is the price for 500, 1,000 or 5,000 boxes determined?
Pricing depends on the actual construction, dimensions, board/wrap, print and finishes, inserts, quantity and packing/delivery requirement. There is no reliable universal price for all custom rigid boxes.
Is a box visualisation a manufacturing proof?
No. Screen colours, illustrative cavities and 3D-style previews are used to discuss intent. Final board, colours, fit and construction are validated with agreed proofing and physical samples.
How quickly can sampling and production happen?
The existing planning indication for standard magnetic and lid-and-base Kappa is about two days for sampling, with production about one week after artwork and sample approval. This is not guaranteed for complex structures, unusual materials, large batch orders or shipping.
