Custom Jewellery Boxes with Velvet Inserts

Compact rigid packaging for rings, earrings, necklaces and sets, engineered around product fit and presentation.

Unbranded jewellery presentation boxes with charcoal fitted inserts

Choose by function

The insert is part of the jewellery presentation

A jewellery box must hold a small product precisely while leaving enough access for presentation and removal. Ring, earring, pendant and necklace formats need different cavities and retention points.

Velvet or another fabric-covered insert changes colour, depth and friction. Material suitability and any protection claim should be confirmed for the exact product rather than assumed from appearance.

Four practical starting points

Select the structure before the decoration

Construction, product fit and handling requirements decide the useful box family. Print and finish follow that structural decision.

01

Ring and earring box

A compact hinged or lift-off format with precisely located slots or cavities.

02

Pendant and necklace box

A wider presentation surface with controlled chain or pendant retention.

03

Drawer jewellery box

A sleeve-and-tray reveal suited to compact accessories and layered presentation.

04

Multi-piece set box

A larger rigid format that maps several items into one coordinated insert.

Specification checklist

Engineer access, retention and visual balance together

The box size and insert should be tested with the real jewellery dimensions, not a generic product category.

Buyer FAQ

Questions to resolve before production

Can one insert fit different jewellery products?

Only when the product ranges and retention points have been planned for that flexibility. A universal cavity can weaken fit or presentation if the size range is too wide.

Does velvet automatically protect against tarnish?

No material-performance claim should be assumed from appearance. Suitability depends on the exact fabric, backing, adhesives, product and storage conditions.

What should a jewellery-box brief include?

Share the jewellery format, maximum dimensions, desired opening style, insert direction, brand finish, quantity and delivery context.

A practical guide for your order

Plan Jewellery, Watch and Coin Presentation Boxes

A jewellery box should hold the item clearly and let the customer remove it easily. The right holder is as important as the outer box or logo.

Match the cavity to the item

Rings, necklaces, bracelets, watches and coin holders need different layouts. A necklace may need a display card and fixing points, while a watch needs room for its support and clasp. Measure the complete presentation holder when a coin already comes in a card or capsule. Include finger access or a removal ribbon where needed.

Choose the lining and finish carefully

A velvet-like or satin surface gives a different presentation feel from exposed foam or paperboard. Ask what material is used beneath the covering. A soft finish is not automatically anti-tarnish or suitable for every surface; supply any material-contact requirements. Foil, embossing and printed wraps can be considered for the outer box after the construction is settled.

Sample with the actual product

Open the lid or drawer, remove the item and check whether the holder marks or obscures it. Confirm the cavity depth and how the item sits when the box is closed. Share internal size, quantity, artwork, holder requirement and delivery city for a matched quotation.
