A perfume box, considered inside and out.

What the project shows

Three details to look at closely.

01 / Outside

A restrained navy presentation

The reel shows navy outer surfaces with gold-coloured lettering and a fine border. The contrast makes the brand area distinct without filling every surface with decoration.

02 / Opening

A hinged reveal

The lid opens away from the bottle, leaving a broad inside panel. This creates room for the product to be seen before it is lifted out.

03 / Inside

A bottle-led layout

A shaped holder follows the bottle and cap area. The bottle is presented face-up, with the label visible in the open pack. The holder’s material is not established by the image.

For your perfume box, start with the complete bottle.

The most useful lesson here is the relationship between the outer design, the opening and the product position. For a new custom perfume box, bring those decisions into one brief rather than approving the artwork before the bottle fit is resolved.

  1. Measure with the cap fitted. Share the maximum bottle dimensions, filled weight and any projecting label or decoration. Confirm the holder cavity and lid clearance with the actual product.
  2. Check how the bottle comes out. In a fitted sample, assess grip access, label clearance and support around the bottle. A neat-looking cavity alone does not prove secure fit.
  3. Approve the finish physically. If you want foil, texture or a particular navy shade, specify it and review a material or printed sample. Gold-coloured details in a video do not identify the decoration process.

Read our board and insert guide for the holder discussion, and the printing and finishes guide for artwork and proofing.

Turn a reference into your own brief.

For a similar direction, send your bottle dimensions, quantity per fragrance, artwork, preferred finish and delivery PIN code. Final fit, materials, pricing and timing are agreed for your own order.
